I recently purchase this beautiful collection of Silk from Worm Goo, by PenandHook www.penandhook.etsy.com Each skein is hand dyed by her with great care and skill. I love the way the colours work together. I loved it so much I had Lisa (owner and yarn dyer) custom dye me a beautiful subtle colour way of ivory with splashes of pale pink, called Worm Goo Splash, shown on the bottom right picture. I wanted a elegant, luxurious yarn to design a collection of floral blossom scarves with a soft touch of pink as you seen on the many spring blossoms. It worked out perfect for my designs as shown in the pictures below and on my previous blog. All of these scarves are available ready to ship at www.valeriebaberdesigns.etsy.com or www.valeriebaberdesign.com
The next two scarves are a combination of two types of yarn. The blossoms are made with the beautiful silk shown above by Worm Goo and another favourite yarn of mine on the base of the scarf.
